 Best Time to Visit
Hyderabad is a princely state, where you can see a perfect blend of modern and erstwhile luxury. The city is known for its hotness. So, it is recommended to avoid May and June for that matter. But it would be perfect to visit the city between the months of October and March; specifically winter seasons.

planeBY AIR - Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad is the only international airport in Telangana. International carriers like Air India, Emirates, Kuwait Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Silk Air, Sri Lankan Airlines and Thai Airways offer frequent connections with major international destinations. Domestic connections are excellent with Air India Deccan, GoAir, IndiGo, Jet Airways, JetLite and SpiceJet operating regularly to major cities of India from here.

trainBY RAIL - Telangana’s major rail network includes Secunderabad railway junction, also the headquarters of South Central Railways. The other important rail junctions are Kazipet and Warangal that connect the state to key cities and regions of India, along with numerous other local stations.

basBY ROAD - Around 6 national highways form a large network of roads in the state. These highways interconnect every district, making journey easy and hassle free. The longest national highway that crosses Telangana is NH7, which enters the state from its North, before exiting the state on its South. Places to See in Mizoram

Mizoram Tourism

Mizoram is a state in the north east of India. Mizoram is considered as a beautiful place due to its dramatic landscape and pleasant climate. There are many opportunities to increase revenue through tourism but many potential tourists find the lack of facilities to be a hurdle. However, the state continues to promote itself and many projects have been initiated. The tourism ministry continues to maintain or upgrade its tourist lodges throughout the state. Foreign tourists are required to obtain an 'internal line permit' under the special permit before visiting The permit can be obtained from Indian missions abroad for a limited number of days or direct from Mizoram Government authorities in India. The state is rich in bird diversity, which has the potentiality to make it a major birding destination. For Mrs Hume's pheasant (Syrmaticus humiae), Mizoram is a stronghold. There is also a rare record of wild buffalo from the state. There are several past records of the Sumatran rhinoceros from Mizoram, then Lushai Hills. The small population of wild elephants can be seen in Ngengpui and Dampa Sanctuaries. Some of the interesting sites are Mizo Poets' Square also known as Mizo Hlakungpui Mual in Mizo, the Great Megaliths locally known as' Kawtchhuah Ropui .



 
Best Time to Visit
Mizoram witnesses three seasons- summer, winter and monsoon. However, extreme temperatures are not observed in any of the seasons. Summer starts in March and then monsoon season starts taking over from May onwards. Winter is the best time to explore the state. The cool weather along with lovely landscapes will swoon you. The temperature during this period remains in perfect range for travellers.

How to Reach :-

planeBY AIR - Lengpui Airport is the only airport located near Aizawl and is connected by flights from Kolkata, Guwahati and Imphal. Mizoram can also be reached from Kolkata via Silchar Airport which is 200 kms from Aizawl.

trainBY RAIL - the closest railway stataion for Aizwal is Silchar in Assam. There are many trains from Guwahati also which take 19 hours to reach Aizwal.

basBY ROAD - Mizoram have a good road network and connects all the major cities and villages. Mizoram is connected to Silchar and Shillong through National Highway NH 54. NH-150 connects the state with Seling Mizoram to Imphal Manipur and NH-40A links the State with Tripura. Distance from Aizwal to Guwahati is 506 Km, Imphal is 374 Km, Kohima is 479 km, Shillong is 450 km, Agartala is 443 km.

Tourist Places in Meghalaya

Meghalaya, the home of the clouds, is one of the most beautiful states in the north-east India offering a variety of sights, activities, food and festivals to the tourists. Well known for Cherapunjji, Meghalaya can mesmerise your hills, valleys, lakes, caves and waterfalls which give it a beautiful look when covered with beautiful clouds.



Best Time to Visit
Meghalaya is best visited between October and June. Most tourist destinations in the state receive temperatures that rarely go beyond 30°C, making it a perfect escape between March and June which is the summer season in the country. It is also a favourite during autumn and winters, i.e. from October to November and December to February amongst tourists who come from high or moderate temperature zones. Considered the wettest region in the country, Meghalaya is not often recommended to tourists during peak monsoons. The state receives an average rainfall of 250 cm. The season begins in May and goes on till the end of September or sometimes till mid-October. One can, however, explore the beautiful state in the beginning or by the end of the monsoon season when the rains are not heavy and the terrain is mesmerisingly beautiful.

How to Reach :-

planeBY AIR - Major airport from Meghalaya is located in Guwahati (Assam) at a distance of 159 km (Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport). The airport is well- connected to international cities of Tura and Bangkok along with Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Calcutta. There are no direct bus connection form Guwahati Airport to Meghalaya, but you can hire a cab to reach your destination.

trainBY RAIL - Nearest railway station from Meghalaya is located in Guwahati (Assam), at a distance of 180 km. Guwahati Junction is connected to New Delhi, Amritsar, Jammu and Kashmir and Bangalore. To reach Meghalaya from Guwahati you can opt for buses or can hire a cab.

basBY ROAD - Meghalaya is easily accessible through roads. The roads are mostly smooth and well-frequented with traffic. However, it will be ideal if you could take precautions while driving in heavy monsoon season. Some of the roads get slowed down due to heavy rain.
