Best Vacation Ideas for Families

From here, are you ready to ditch your winter blues for a family-friendly vacation in a warm climate?

To keep your children from layers of layers (and unbearable), from continuous wet feet, many parents need to survive because the winter season starts. Even those families who do not live with the four-cycle cycle, they can choose their holiday along the palm trees instead of the fur-trimmed snow boots. So do you want to avoid cold or just do not want to leave it in, we have made more than two dozen of our favorite hot-weather spots which force you to bake in your park and sunshine.

Read great to see all the inclusive resorts, beaches, and fascinating cities with culture, which can not offer bathing suits in January, but certainly not ice!

1. All-Inclusive Jamaica - Whether you want to relax at your resort or crave for an active adventure, the beauty of Jamaica is legendary. The island has completed the all-inclusive resort concept. Melia Nassau Beach All Inclusive

22424558_10155001858013201_7105662758690357782_o (1)
Winter has finally descended on Denver. Okay, it’s not terrible, but it’s definitely cold. And the days are still really short. Which makes my Seasonal Affective Disorder activate and I get down and just want to hibernate. That’s when I know it’s time to travel somewhere warm and rejuvenate with a much needed dose of Vitamin C (& Sea). Something the Melia Nassau Beach – All Inclusive delivered.
22498899_10155010975488201_4814578321979229001_o
Just a quick one-stop flight via Atlanta from my home base in Denver to Nassau, which on the way home lets you clear U.S. immigration and customs at the same time as you leave the Bahamas, thus eliminating the international hassle, the Melia Nassau Beach is  easy to access. The only affiliated property in the hot new Baha Mar development, which includes a Rosewood, Grand Hyatt and SLS hotel, with direct private beach access, The Melia looks right at the Atlantic Ocean’s multi-hued blue sparkle beyond the powdery white sand cushion that is Nassau’s beautiful Cable Beach.
22549069_10155010985593201_7582518958743912228_o
The Melia is very family friendly and offers a children’s pool as well as a Kids’ Club with daily activities. The property boasts airy, modern rooms and suites with private balconies and either pool or ocean views. There are also three swimming pools with waterfalls fronting the ocean, one of which is adults only, as well as two hot tubs.

22528743_10155010979868201_97988590502383820_o
When booking, there is an option for THE LEVEL, which is the property’s elevated services and amenities package, and guests have access to an exclusive beach area, private lounge, premium top shelf liquors and preferential dining bookings.
22519865_10155010990093201_1451091247197975366_o
There are seven restaurants and four bars here, and I was seriously impressed by the quality of food at the Melia Nassau Beach – All Inclusive. It’s often the low-point of an all-inclusive experience, but this wasn’t the case at this spot, where there was plenty of variety, and a lot of fresh and healthy choices. Okay it wasn’t the quality of food you’d find in say a Michelin-starred restaurant, but that’s not realistic cooking for this many people and providing as many dishes as they do. But for their business model and price point, The Melia Nassau Beach is shining. Another highlight were the strong drinks, which were not watered down as often happens at all-inclusive resorts.
22519842_10155010981633201_24109475095937878_o
And the restaurants here have you dining around the planet: Nikkei serves Japanese and Peruvian fare, including show cooking on Teppanyaki tables and a fresh sushi bar; Cilantro is focused on fresh Mexican and tequila (note some of the speciality cocktails do have extra cost associated with them, but it’s clearly noted in the menu); and O’Grille, which is an American grill. There are also multiple bar options and different entertainment – try the karaoke – depending on the night of the week.
22496179_10155007118868201_6553401278578459931_o
Right on Cable Beach, the location is fabulous and The Melia Nassau Beach – All Inclusive offers guests free floats, SUP boards and kayaks. Should you tire of the vitamin sea, you can hop on the free shuttle to the afore mentioned Baha Mar development, home to a casino, 18-hole, par-72 golf course, dining venues and shopping.

Travel hacks when you arrive

Travel hacks when you arrive

11. Darts directly for baggage claim. It's amazing how many people seem to sway after landing. Save it for another place to save time and prevent any disputes with fellow travelers.

12. Use ATMs to get local currency. The use of money converters at the airport usually takes place for a fee, and exchange rates are plagiarized. Of course, ATMs always issue local currency, so use your debit or credit card and get your money there.

13. Make sure you download Yelp for traveling in the USA. This is an excellent city guide for both travelers and locals, and this is the best way to find the most amazing places to eat and see the sights.

14. Shop groceries when you arrive. You do not need to shop for a feast, but buying products such as water and a few snacks at local stores, not at a hotel, will save you a ton.

15. From your room, remove only items from your luggage. Trying to feel at home, taking out every pair of shoes and all your toiletries, will repackage all living hell, and this will increase your chances of forgetting something when it comes time to go home.
